We’ve always been and remain service-led and we recognise the current uncertainty is difficult for some of our guests. We’re happy to help with any Covid related issues that might affect your stay with us and so we offer as much flexibility as we can in terms of our Booking Conditions.

 

We’re happy to change any reservation for an alternative stay – either for this season or next. Changes will never be subject to an amendment fee – they will be subject to availability and any room rate differential (up or down). We’re also happy to accept these reservation changes up to 48 hours prior to a planned departure.

In all cases, reorganised bookings must be made by 30th April 2022. The final payment date remains 10 weeks before your holiday. If payment in full has not been received by us by the due date, we shall have the right to cancel the booking.

At the Staffler

We embrace all Covid related Austrian legislation and will keep our guests regularly updated of any applicable rules and regulations. We ask all guests to comply with Covid safe practices including possible temperature checks, providing vaccine certificates and other possible measures we consider necessary to keep everyone safe. Our staff will have had any applicable Covid related training and will all have been fully vaccinated. Current Austrian legislation also requires weekly Covid testing.

Insurance

We’ve searched long and hard to find suitable, Covid related travel insurance for our guests. We have no interest in earning commission from any business generated. Staysure travel insurance offers single and multi-trip cover for singles, couples, families and groups. Premiums importantly include general Covid cover while abroad and full cover for those countries on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office ‘all but essential travel’ list – now or in the future. The cover also includes up to 21 days of winter sports and is Europe wide. Policies can be organised, utilising the link below - use their comprehensive option. Premiums are very competitive considering the cover included. Their multi-trip option is for 15 months for the price of 12.

 

We sampled a multi-trip option including FCO cover for a single person at £44 and the same policy for a family of three for £110. Your premium can be further reduced if you get to the payment stage on your application but don’t pay. Wait on their automated follow up email after a couple of days. Wait again for their second follow up which offers a 15% discount across all premiums.
